Temporary on-street parking permits now
available online
City of Toronto residents and their guests can now obtain a temporary
on-street parking permit conveniently from their own home or office
without having to visit a City service counter.
Permits, which are required for residents or their guests to park on
streets
designated for permit parking, can now be obtained online as part of the
City's eService program. This program is aimed at providing 24/7 access to
many City services.
All you need is access to a computer and printer, credit card, and just a
couple of minutes to fill out some basic information in order to complete
this transaction. The simple, step-by-step procedure can be found at
www.toronto.ca/transportation.
"This is another program where residents and their guests can access
City
services online on a 24/7 basis," said Councillor Paula Fletcher.
"Many
residents have told me that they look forward to taking advantage of this
convenient service to get their permits."
