September 5 2002-The leader of the Canadian Alliance, Stephen
Harper announced today the nomination of the newest member of his team.
The Communications Officer responsible for media in Quebec will be Mr.
Dimitris Soudas.
Mr.
Soudas accepted Mr. Harper's invitation to offer his political and
professional experience to the cause of the Canadian Alliance. "It is
with great pleasure that I announce today the arrival of young and
energetic Dimitris as the newest member of my staff, his experience will
be a great asset" said Mr. Harper. Born and raised in Montreal,
Dimitris Soudas is multi-lingual who wants to get the party's message
across to all Quebecquers .
Mr. Soudas was born and raised in Quebec and
speaks four
languages. Until recently, Mr. Soudas was Director of communications at
the political office for the leader of the Montreal Island Citizens Union
and mayor of Montreal, Gérald Tremblay. Prior, Mr. Soudas was a
press attaché to the mayor of Montreal and his executive committee.
Mr. Soudas has been actively involved in public service and has a keen
interest in public policy discourse. He is a member of the Board of
Directors of the Hellenic Congress of Quebec. Soudas said, "I take
upon this new challenge with conviction and pride. I am looking forward to
face the challenges of tomorrow, today!"
