9^th Annual Greek Easter Bake Sale and Snack Bar

April 16^th and 17^th 10 am to 4pm

Location:  Greek Community Centre, 4648 Elk Lake Drive next to Commonwealth Place.

Times:  Saturday April 16^th and Sunday April 17^th between 10 am and 4pm.

The Greeks have all kinds of different deserts and baked goods for different occasions throughout the year.  Of particular interest are the very large variety of deserts and baked goods associated with Easter which is the paramount religious season in the Greek Orthodox calendar.  The woman’s Auxiliary of the Greek Orthodox church on Elk Lake Drive in Royal Oak prior to Easter organize a Bake Sale which exhibits an eclectic variety of Easter deserts and baked goods.  In conjunction with the Bake sale they also coordinate an Art and Craft exhibition and sale and a Greek food snack bar.

The bake sale will feature numerous yummy home-made Greek Easter desserts, pastries and freshly made Loukoumades.  Souvlaki, Gyros, spanakopita and refreshments will be available at the Snack Bar. All proceeds will go towards support of the Victoria and Vancouver Island Greek Community Society cultural programs and for charity purposes. Everyone is welcome and there is no cost to attend.
