Appointment of a New President and CEO
TORONTO, April 6
The Board of Directors of Telehop Communications Inc. ("Telehop") is pleased to announce that Mr. Rajiv Jagota has been appointed as President and CEO of Telehop, succeeding Fulvio Ciano.
Mr. Jagota brings with him extensive experience in the telecom industry including corporate planning, business and marketing strategies, new product development, and mergers and acquisitions. He held senior executive positions with Teleglobe Inc., Bell Canada Inc., Yak Communications and Level 3 Communications before joining Telehop.
To assist Mr. Jagota's transition to his new position, Fulvio Ciano will remain for a period of time in April and on a consultative basis as needed thereafter. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Ciano for his hard work and dedication to Telehop, which spans over a 10 year period. We wish him all the very best in his future endeavors.
